I bought this car from a machinist in Anderson in 1992 who had advertised it as a tc for $2500. Needless to say he was swamped with callers, but even when told it was an A, I was still interested, so drove right on up there. It was generally dinged up everywhere from having been stored in a machine shop for a decade or more but did run. The tranny was making a bad noise. I bought it anyway, and drove it around a bit before first gear went out completely, then second, then I took the motor and tranny out, and while it was that far apart decided to do a ground up. It is first up for completion. I really enjoyed driving this car when it was running and it is actually a cost effective restoration what with good examples approaching 20 grand these days.
