I bought this car from Gino Pizzi in 1981, as my daily driver. I was at the time 21 and had wanted one of these ever since I saw it on the cover of Motor Trend in 1975 (I still have that issue). I drove the car until 1987 when it became obvious it was costing more to keep in on the road per month than buying a new car would cost. Often this was against all odds as the car left me by the side of the road on numerous occasions. It was subsequnetly vandalized and is about halfway thorugh a complete restoration. The cost of doing this keeps it on th eback burner given what it worth when finished. In factr the newly acquired 76 scorpion is ahead of it in line, since the body is better on the 76.
