1982 Alfa Romeo GTV6

I bought this car from Dan Chairadonna in Springfield IL,  his father had bought the car new as a self gift for graduating from Law School and it was passed to him.   His cousin or something named Caeser rebuilt the motor but couldn't get the clutch to work right.  It was pretty ratty and toasted.  A quick trip to Ed's 500 Automotive and $1200.00 later, it ran great!   This was to be a back up car for my sons Chris's GTV6, so that when his broke down I didnt have to worry about him wrecking one of my cars.  I secretly began to really like his car and wanted one of my own in reality!  I had it painted Bright Viper Yellow and kind of wish I had gone with Ford Chrome Yellow but it definately gets some attention the way it is.

The rice boys are very envious when they see it, especially when I blow them off the line.

The painters were supposed to remove the moulding and somehow forgot so I acqueised to going with a thinner moulding versus making them repaint the car. They are a good paint shop just need some help in the communication area.

The guys who painted the car went a little overboard on the red accents!

I went with this paint job thinking I was going to make this into a track car so it is supposed to be more of a livery than a paint job! That is still the plan I will add racing seats and 4 point harnesses, lowered rear springs and new bilsteins and she is ready to hit the track!

As you can see the interior still needs to be gutted!
